Week 22

How many weeks?! I am 22 weeks

Food Cravings?! Pineapple and chips and salsa...not together of course, but speaking of pineapple salsa might be good...

Weight Gain? I think I am up 17 pounds total, but like I said in an earlier post...my scale at home isn't always accurate.

What am I looking forward to?!? ONLY 6 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOOL!!!!!!!

What do I miss? Lets see, sleeping on my belly, Diet Mt. Dew, REAL Sweet tea, but I can't wait to meet little Henry :)

This week Henry is the size of a spaghetti squash (except for the fact this is bigger then what he measured at my 20 week appointment). He should be 11 inches and almost a pound. He was 1 pound and an ounce at the 20 week appointment. If I could have an ultrasound this week, Henry would really be looking like a newborn baby. He has developed teethbuds, eyelids, eyebrows, etc. His irises are developed but still lack the pigment so they aren't colored yet.

This song was on the radio the other day!!! I never really listened to the lyrics until now. I thought it was a great song, but now I LOVE IT!!! I was okay until the end of the song!! "The years are going to fly by, I already dread the day, he's gonna hug his momma, and he's gonna shake my hand, he's gonna act like he can't wait to leave, but as he drives out he'll cry his eyes out!! Worst folks to be like, oh he'll be alright if he's anything like me!! I don't want my baby to grow up and he's not even here yet!!!

A try at Maternity Pictures

Tom and I went to the beach this past weekend. While we were there we thought we would try to get some maternity pictures...as you can see some turned out kind of cute and others are just silly!! I wish we had taken off our glasses, who knows what we were thinking?!

I don't know what we are doing here....LOL

Week 21

How many weeks? 21

Food Cravings? umm....SHRIMP PO BOY!!!

Food Aversions? Peanut Butter....Casa Blanca (2 EXTREMELY bad experiences there)

Weight Gain? 14 pounds total (this was from my last appt....then the doctor looked the size of Henry and said yeah I won't complain) LOL

What am I looking forward too? The last day of school, of course!!

What do I miss? Tom went on jet skis this weekend at the beach...I really wanted to go...he saw all kids of dolphins :(

This week Henry is developing his sense of taste, so I guess I need to be careful what I eat so maybe he'll eat veggies and fruit!! He is also moving like CRAZY!! Tom felt him move a couple of times now, he thinks it's weird but wants to feel him again!!

20 Week Ultrasound Pictures

Today was my 20 week check-up. We were reassured that Henry is a boy!! haha!! We got some good pictures of him! He wasn't as active today as he was at 15 weeks, but his momma had a pretty stressful day at school.

20 Weeks

How many weeks? 20 weeks (half way through, don't know how to feel happy or sad....I want to meet Henry so badly, but I love feeling him move around even though I have been sick and still sick!! It's a miracle growing inside me, I just don't want to let go)

Food Cravings? chips and salsa

Food Aversions? Not really

Weight Gain? I will know this one for sure Monday...get to go see Henry again!! Can't wait :)

What am I looking forward too? I am looking forward to my appointment on Monday!!

What do I miss? Sleeping on my tummy....

This week Henry is developing like crazy, his organs are coming in to place, his legs are finally longer then his arms. He is developing the meconium that we will get to see after delivery....that one might be Tom's job!! LOL I will post pictures Monday of the ultrasound, that is if we have internet...haven't had it since the storms last week. Not complaining because so many people around me have NOTHING!! The storms hit within a mile from my house...we are very lucky...and when we get internet I will post those pictures soon. (I am using the computer at school)

Food Cravings? strawberry pie

Food Aversions? Not really...

Weight gain? probably (more on next post)

What am I looking forward too? still the 20 week ultrasound...next Monday!!

What do I miss?! Diet Mt. Dew

Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil and dead skin cells (yum) now coats Henry's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. He's still moving around like crazy!

18 Weeks

Food Cravings? hushpuppies and strawberry pie (not together)

Food Aversions? Rotesserie Chicken...the smell makes me sick...who knows why

Weight gain? Probably....

What I am looking forward too?! The 20 week ultrasound to see how much Henry has grown

What do I miss? Diet Mt. Dew!!!

This week Henry is moving around like crazy, and yes I can feel him!! This has to be one of the best feelings in the world...even though I'm getting kicked by my own child LOL!! I love it!!
