Food Cravings? Funnel Cake...can't find those anywhere...LOL

Food Aversions?! I had the stomach virus this week...so yep pretty much everything

Weight gain? Not any more this week.

What am I looking forward too? My 20 week check-up

This week Henry is developing a stronger skeleton. Fat is starting to develop around it also. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger. His little fingers and toes have prints now!!

Memphis Zoo

Tom took off Tuesday of my spring break. We decided to leave town for the day and head to Memphis. We went to the zoo, then to eat ribs at Rendezvous. The weather was perfect (sunny and 70 degrees). We had a blast. I can't wait until Henry is old enough (well actually I can, I know they grow up way too fast) to take him and see his little face when we sees the animals.

So this is the first thing we see when we walk into the zoo....yep....and all the adults were laughing and the kids were asking what the black leopard is doing to the spotted leopard. It was funny!!

16 Weeks

How many weeks? 16

Food Cravings?!? still fruit and cheese...I wanted some sugar cookies one day this week.

Food Aversions!? I tried pork again...and Henry liked it this time...I really thought he might be a Jew LOL ...I actually kept it down, didn't feel great afterwards, but didn't get sick!!

Weight gain?! 8 pounds since the beginning, the doctor said this was great seeing as Henry is supposed to weigh 3 oz. and he weighs 6 oz.....yep he's a big boy already!!

What am I looking forward to? Getting his nursery ready

This week Henry is growing rapidly. He is now developing eyebrows, eyelashes, and hair...might be why I am taking these Tums now. LOL. He can open and shut his mouth, he is trying to suck his thumb. He should double in size in the next couple of weeks!! (Seeing as he already is double what he is supposed to be, I am thinking it might not take a couple of weeks).

16 Week Belly Bump

I have been reading all kinds of books and websites they say what Baby G is up too each week. I have been sick as a dog, getting a little better...but still a little sick on certain days. But I count my blessings everyday to be lucky enough to become Henry's mom!! While reading about everything going on, I just have to stop and think how special our God is...I mean who else could create something so small and special?!!? No one!! I thank him daily for our little blessing. Please keep Tom and I in your prayers as we start this new chapter in our life, that the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly, and he is healthy when he gets here!!

It's a boy!!!

Baby G is a boy....he fooled us all!!! The vote was 8 for girls and 4 for boys (2 of those from Tom)!!! haha! All the wise tells and the Chinese calender were wrong!! He might be a little stubburn and have red hair like his momma!! Here are some pictures of him:

Week 15

How many weeks? 15 weeks

Food Cravings? fruit (mainly pineapple), cheese, and now chips and salsa..good combination huh!?! With all this I have started a small investment in TUMS!!

Food Aversions? Pork

Weight gain? I don't think I have actually gained this week

What am I looking forward to? This Tuesday I get to go have an Ultrasound because there is a student trainer and so they asked if she could train on me...umm yes any reason to see my baby!! They are also going to try to determine the gender!!!

This week baby G's legs are finally longer than his/her arms. He/she is moving around like crazy...I feel little bubbles in my tummy every so often, not sure if it's Baby G moving or just indigestion.
