Week 14

How many weeks? 14
Food Cravings? Pineapple still
Food Aversions? Pork and Peanut Butter.....
Weight gain!? Umm....yes...haha!! Not sure how much though (our scale at home doesn't work very well)
What am I looking forward to!? SPRING BREAK!!!!

This week Baby G can suck his/her thumb and wiggle his/her fingers and toes. Baby G can also make urine now and breathe amniotic fluid because his/her liver, kidneys, and spleen are continuing to develop. Lanugo (thin hair) is growing on Baby G's body for warmth.

Hey everyone!! Tom and I will not find out the sex of Baby G for several more weeks, but we are curious to know what people think we are having. Please take a second and vote!! We'd love to see who is right or wrong...hehe!!! Here are some old wise tells that I have experienced:
1. My hair is not growing any faster, just the same as it was before.
2. I have been VERY sick.
3. I am craving pineapple and cheese (mainly), but have had some cravings for popcorn.
4. My feet are not colder than the were before.
5. The last heart rate we heard was 175 beats a minute.
6. Tom is losing weight as I gain weight....(not fun for me).
7. I have gained weight all over.


Those are some I have found, I know none of this means ANYTHING!!! I just think they are fun and like to try the different wise tales out!! Let me know what you think by voting, I will post of picture of my growing tummy.

Week 13

How many weeks? 13

Food Cravings? Still fruit...mainly pineapple

Food aversions? Tried pork and peanut butter again, but got sick...so I guess those 2 things...and the smell of chicken cooking.

Best Moment? I really don't know this week, been really sick!!!

Weight gain? Not this week, been very very sick...still

What am I looking forward too? Feeling better, finding out if Baby G is a girl or boy, and having energy.

This week Baby G is forming teeth and vocal cords. He or she is approaching normal proportion. The intestines are moving from the umbilical cord to the babys tummy.

Week 12

How many weeks? I am 12 weeks
Any food cravings? umm...pineapple still (had a pineapple and mayo sandwhich the other day) hehe
Any food aversions?! Not really...
Best Moment!? *GROSS ALERT* I have not thrown up in a week and had normal bowel movements (sorry I know it's gross but I feel better)
Weight gain? Went to the doc Monday, and I had gained 6 pounds since my 6 weeks visit...so I guess I gain a pound a week....HOPE NOT!! LOL
What am I looking forward too? APRIL 11 to see what we are having!!! (Tom says it's a baby, LOL)


This week I am entering the 2nd trimester!! I am starting to feel better, like everyone said Iwould. Almost all of Baby G's systems are fully formed. This week he/she is the size of a plum!!

How many weeks? Today I am 11 weeks

Any cravings? I have been really sick this week, so no not really

Food Aversions? Pretty much everything this week

Best Moment? I am done with my school (Masters) for the semester, start back in 2 weeks...a little stress is taken off my shoulders for a while.

Weight gain? I didn't weigh this week, but pants are fitting a little snug ( I saw on a website that keeps up with what you should do each week, says start buying maternity clothes)

What am I looking forward too? I get to have another U/S Monday!! Can't wait to see how much our baby has grown.

This week Baby G is 11 weeks. He/she is the size of a lime. The skin is still transparent, but he/she no longer has webbed hands and feet. Hair follicles, nail beds, and teeth buds are all starting to form this week. On Monday our baby will actually look like a baby, instead of the blob we have been seeing!!
