Church Shower

My sweet church family gave me a shower July 31. The girls in my Bunco group, plus some others helped with the shower...they did an amazing job!! Everything went with his nursery theme. It was all jungle animals. I am blessed to have such great friends, family, and church family!! I thought Henry was spoiled, but now I KNOW he is!!

33 Weeks

How many weeks? 33 weeks

Food Cravings? Sweet tarts and Ice cream (not together)

Food Aversions? Pizza...not good for the indegestion

Weight Gain? Didn't weigh this week

What am I looking forward to? My 36 week Ultrasound

What do I miss? The beach!!! (I really wanted to go again this summer)

This week Henry SHOULD be a little over 4 pounds (at 32 weeks he was 5 pounds and 9 ounces). He should be the size of a pineapple. He is starting to get "fat" instead of just getting longer. His bones are starting to get hard.

Let Me Hold You Longer

I was given this book by a good friend at my church shower this past Sunday (July 31). I read just the last page when she gave it to me and I cried...then when I got home I read it all. This book I highly recommend every mother read to their children!! It's hard to make it through it, but don't we all want to hold on just a little longer?!!? I keep thinking that I am only 8 weeks away (probably not even that long) from feeling Henry's last kick.

A Weekend with My Niece

This past weekend my niece, Lucy came to stay with Tom and me!! We had a weekend packed with fun activities. Friday, we went and got pedicures, got feathers in our hair, and went to an art class. Saturday we went to see Rio (at the dollar theater) and then went to Kiddie Carnival, which of course I forgot my camera. Then Sunday was my church shower, and finally on Monday Lucy got to go the Henry's ultrasound with us!! Whew!! I'm worn out just thinking about it all!! It was a fun busy weekend, here are some pictures from our adventures!!

Henry Frank's First Shower

Henry had his first shower, Sunday July 24 at Aunt Harriet's house. This was family and close friends shower. He ended up getting most of his "big" stuff. He got the travel system. his swing, travel swing, pack-n-play, bouncer, jumperoo, activity mat, a cradle, and tons of other stuff!! He is going to want for nothing. Here are a few pictures of the shower.

What do I miss? Mt. Dew!!!

This week Henry should be the size of a jicama (whatever that is), which means he weighs 3 pounds and 7 ounces, well I went to the doctor Monday and Henry weighs 5 pounds and 9 ounces. He is measuring the size of a 35 week baby. He can gain up to a 1/3 of his birth weight in the next 7 weeks. So I could be having an 11 pound baby (hopefully not). He now has fingernails, toenails, and real hair.

*I just thought this was neat- during the ultrasound, Henry blinked!!* Way too cool!!
